Post-Treatment Care

Mole Removal

✔ It is highly recommended to apply sunscreen daily.
✔ Alcohol and smoking can cause inflammation; please avoid both for 7 days.
✔ If scabs form, allow them to fall off naturally—do not pick at them.
✔ It is normal for the area where the mole was removed to turn red. The redness may last anywhere from 2 weeks to 3 months, depending on individual healing. It will generally fade over time, so there is no need to worry.
✔ Avoid heavy makeup for a week; light makeup is recommended.
✔ Do not touch the wound area with your hands until the skin has regenerated. If the adhesive tape falls off, replace it with clean hands to avoid irritation.
✔ If a large mole was removed, it is recommended to cover the wound with adhesive tape for protection. For deep moles, applying a regenerative ointment along with the tape may be advised. Replace the tape every 1–3 days, depending on the amount of discharge, for about a week.
